Cleaveland/Price focuses its efforts in transmission on maximizing value to the end user through our “Quick Install” switches.   We offer fully assembled and adjusted unitized switch designs that save customers significant installation time, thus reducing crane usage time and labor costs.  Vertical break and center break “V” configuration switches are offered in single-way transmission applications.  For two-way and three-way applications, switch types RL-C2W and RL-C3W are available.

Another Cleaveland/Price product that is designed to save utilities significant money in asset costs is our effective Superwhip^™.   Through extensive testing and field service, the Superwhip^™ has been proven to interrupt the capacitive current of many miles of transmission line.  In single-way applications, where an expensive full load interrupting device was required to break capacitive current, a pre-installed  Superwhip™  can be used instead.  For installations that require full load break, Cleaveland/Price offers the innovative ReliaVac® vacuum interrupter.
