The Cleaveland/Price DB-C is a three pole, group operated, copper double end break switch used primarily in substations. The switch is available in a “V” configuration at 115 kV to 161 kV. The double side break design is useful in applications where there is limited overhead clearance and interphase distances need to be kept at a minimum. Because the blades of the switch will not be energized when the switch is in the open position, the switch can be installed on the same phase spacing as a vertical break switch. DB-C Performance Features
