RL-C Side Break

The RL-C is a substation class single end break disconnect switch that can be used for breaker or transformer isolation.

RL-C Performance Features

  • All copper current carrying parts
  • Non-cast copper terminal pads with NEMA standard hole pattern
  • Silver-to-silver contacts at hinge and jaw
  • Stainless steel contact springs 
  • Parallel blade construction for efficient cooling 
  • Built-in closed position blade stop
  • Ice shield on 115 kV and 138 kV ratings
  • Hot-dip galvanized single channel base on switches rated 7.2 to 69 kV, double channel base on switches rated 115 kV and 138kV
