- FIRST to manufacture a full line of disconnect switches that do not utilize castings
- FIRST to manufacture switch motor operators with solid state control circuitry
- FIRST to manufacture electrically powered motor operators for automating transmission and distribution switches in a SCADA environment
- FIRST to manufacture transmission class in-line disconnect switches rated up to 230 kV
