Cleaveland/Price has established a position in the industry as a progressive leader in disconnect switch design. Cleaveland/Price ingenuity is evidenced by these pioneering  developments:

• FIRST to manufacture a full line of disconnect switches which do not utilize castings
• FIRST to manufacture switch motor operators with solid state control circuitry
• FIRST to manufacture electrically powered motor operators for automating transmission and distribution switches in a SCADA environment
• FIRST to manufacture transmission class in-line disconnect switches rated up to 230 kV
